One With Nature

I wanted to be one with nature so I went to my Dad's homeland. Biliran Island. Not known to many, Biliran is a teeny weeny island that has a total land area of 555.42 square kilometers (55,542 hectares). It is located northwestern part of Leyte.

Our forgetten land.

An afternoon shot at Estreller's Pool located at Masagongsong, Kawayan, Biliran.

Dalutan Island. Twenty minute boat ride from Talahid, Almeria. An ideal place for reflecting. Two years ago, I went snorkeling to this island. The sea was still full of life -- colorful corals, happy fishes and green sea weeds. Now, the sea is saltier, if you get lucky, you see a fish or two. What is evident are the remains from dynamite fishing. Isn't it sad? The island is dead before it became a tourist spot.
