++JEEPETHICS

I've been riding the jeepney since I could remember. I'm really amazed of the comes and goes of people from different walks of life. However, there is one thing I wish: that there should be an unwritten law that everyone should silently understand. THE JEEPNEY ETHICS. I've written it, in case someone needs a review.

 Learn how to say “please” and “thank you” when giving the plite. Afterall, we are asking someone a favor.

Pwede ra man mamalihug bah.

Uroy natulog ko, makuratan man sad ta inig kablit og kusog.

 Vacate front seats for disabled passengers. This is very self-explanatory.

 Sinsilyo lang unta sa buntag.

 Sikit-sikat lang unta, bai. In English, share a seat, win a friend. We never know, the friend whom we share seats with could be your future – future wife, future husband, or future utanganan.

 Please move near the driver's seat to accommodate elder people or disabled persons.

 Please assist those who are carrying heavy bags.

 Pay ahead especially if it is not the exact change.

 To those who have long hair, keep them from flying away. One time, I was humming silently, Ang gaan-gaan ng feeling with matching lupad-lupad sa akong hair just like the shampoo commercial.

 Please don't spit especially when the jeepney's traveling fast. One time, ni ubo akong tupad, tayming kaayo nga kusog ang dagan sa jeep, iyang plema, nilabsik iyang plema sa ako-a.

 Do not block the passageway.

 Lastly, ayaw pamokong.

These are just the few jeepethics that I could think of. Maybe you have something more to add. Until the next jeepney ride.
