Three Months

I can’t believe it’s been three months since my last entry. Well I am no longer inspired. My ultimate fan, Ginny Weeny, has stopped commenting on my blog and my girlfriend, Belle, hasn’t encouraged me to write either. Knowing that I have only two people in the market has not inspired me to write again. Haha.

August has been hectic at work. Glad it was. I have learned about key trends and data analysis. I felt my brain was put into good use. Whilst some people hated their job and their boss, I feel lucky. I never had a chance to job hop in my career. From the moment, I was introduced to Recruitment; I knew that this was it for me. Well for now, at least. My boss is British based in Hong Kong. She curses a lot – ‘those bitches’, ‘idiots’, ‘Gaawwd – I give up on this client’. We’ll these are the words part of my daily vocabulary now. Surprisingly I find this interesting. I am finding my mentor in her.

It has been all about work for these past few months, folks. Nothing exciting. Well except that I went home in June for two weeks and was reunited with old friends and family. As always, Buchok, who is now in Nursery, was my buddy.

The Habit and I are no longer a Habit or I-don’t-know-where-we-stand-at-this-moment-phase. I had to fly to Cebu abruptly on the weekend we have planned for Tagaytay. And since I was no longer in Manila, he flew back to the US.

We were like rich people! I kidded him. When other people get into trouble with the relationship, they go to a mall but we, fly. Which I have to remind him that he needs to reimburse my tickets!!! It was an unplanned going home trip and it was expensive. And it was very expensive. Thus, the culprit, the Un-habit, has to pay. But in all honesty, I don’t mind going home. Seeing Buchok is priceless. I love that kid to death.

Next step would be, how to un-habit and old habit. It’s going to be a long process but I will try.
