The Habit stays at the Mandarin Hotel whenever he is in Manila. And because I have a thing in helping the world, I have collected the freebies (shampoo, bath gel, mouthwash, toothbrush, toothpaste and lotion) for my Dugyot Project (formerly called Poor People Project). I was happy and excited with the freebies I gathered. When I saw dirty kids outside the apartment last Sunday, I was ecstatic. I called them and said I will give them something. So when I handed them the toiletries, they were disappointed.
And asked, "Ma'am, wala po bang pagkain?"
I guess, I'll just have to give it to not so poor people then.
