Mel and Kuya Mark, thank you. Thank you for giving me a home for the past few weeks. In the place where I grew up, helping someone you don’t know is taboo. I was grateful that I met a family as helpful as yours even if you did not know me. I’m sure your mum and especially your dad would have been proud on how wonderful people you’ve both become. Thank you for welcoming me into your home, sharing whatever blessings you have and more. Mel, thank you for embracing my audacity since not everyone can understand it. Kuya Mark, your last sermon hit me hard, big time. My kuyas, many as they are, never gave me substantial advice but you did. Thank you.
Mel and Kuya Mark, I’m so sorry. Your help had gone to waste but not really. I learned a lot from you and from my stay here. I’m sorry that helping me out had gone too awry. But the thing is when you get what you want but not what you need, you get stuck in reverse. I’m really sorry if it doesn’t make sense right now.
Thank you so much Mel and Kuya. No amount of thank yous can suffice how grateful I am. I’m glad I met people like you, kind, generous, helpful, giving, welcoming, and warm and so much more. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
