Yesterday, Anferny and I went out.
After a date of shopping, play in the playground and lunch at Mac’s, he said. “Come here.” I came near to him and unexpectedly, he gave me a hug. He whispered, “Tita, I had so much fun. I love you.” He then gave me a kiss on the cheek.
Kids say the sweetest things.
I just remembered when the first day I arrived he said, “Tita, I am so happy you are home.”
I silently said, “Me too, baby. I am so happy I am home.”
I have been battling with myself for the past few months that my family has depended so much on me but the reality was, I need them more than they need me. Because at 27, your family becomes your friends and you’re friends become your family. Until my next journey.
