The Climb

Last Monday, mum asked me to walk three blocks! I was whining because I didn’t want to have a 15 minute walk under the scorching heat of the sun.

She only retorted, “You even had an eight hour trek yesterday.”

And so, I walked all the way from Angelica’s in Jones to Ave University of Cebu in Sanciangko St in heels.

There are things that you could not imagine you could do but when push comes to shove, you really can.

So when I was able to climb a two story high boulder with an 80 degree inclination and a lonely rope to grip on, I was really amazed with myself. When I successfully climbed at the top, I sang Miley’s The Climb not caring if anyone heard me.
