I invited my good friend, Janice to watch a 3D movie. So everything was well planned. I bought tickets for the 600 PM showing, boxed out several movie goers to get good seat and rushed to grab the easiest fast food junk, in that order. Since she came from work, I was expecting she was going to be late for a couple of minutes. When Anton, my other friend, texted me that the movie has started, I called her in frantic.
"Where are you, Jan?" I asked.
"I'm already here in Cinema 3", she said. "As a matter of fact, I'm already inside the movie house."
"Huh? How come I'm not seeing you." I queried again. Thoughts ran wild through my mind. This might be what they said people being in the same place at a different time, just like being in a different dimension. Isn't this amazing?
Perhaps the ticket person overheard us. He intelligently asked, "Is she in Ayala or in SM?"
Then it dawned on me (again). Janice and I were not in a different dimension. She was in Ayala. I was in SM. And that's how we almost missed a good 3D movie, Avatar.
---------
Since we were late, we had to watch the last full show.
So we were in the movie house, excited to watch a 3D full length movie for the first time. While waiting for the movie to start, I spotted a cute, looks-like-a-half-Turkish guy sitting a seat apart from me. He had a long nose and manly features. I felt giddy and flirty. It looked like he was waiting for someone. I said to myself, if his date would stand him up, I would darely sit beside him. He kept on texting (perhaps to his date) because the movie was about to start. I stole several glances at him, hoping he would notice me. Then the movie started. A guy approached our aisle. Then he finally sat beside me. I saw the looks-like-a-half-Turkish guy's face lit up. Then it dawned on me (again), his date was a he.

Hi Nik! Nice to know someone else is reading my blog aside from my officemates. Hehehe. It was a great movie indeed, set aside the fact that it was an amalgamation of fern gully and pocahontas.
