Queuing. @700 AM – got my picture taken. @730 AM, was able to get a priority number. In between, I waited. My phone vibrated, a text message from my supervisor read that I need to be at the office early afternoon. I counted my money, I only had few bucks to spare. I wondered if I can still survive for the next 24 hours. I just received my 13th month bonus few days ago, ironically, I only have 200 pesos left. How did that happen -- blame it on credit card bills!@850 AM, “30-50”, the girl called. Few minutes more, the waiting would be over. Hopefully. Wish I had brought my music player or my laptop with me. I could have gone through the agency to get my passport. It would be a lot easier. But I wanted to prove to them that going back to the basics – falling and waiting in line would be the fastest, easiest and cheapest way to go. I'm still hoping that I am right.
Last Sunday, we've bought a green tea cake. Ross brought a Merco cake from Davao. Ross claimed that Merco cakes are the best butter cakes. I haven't tasted both cakes yet. Well, that remains to be seen.
I need to clean our house. It would have been easier had I lived in a weeny house. There are a lot of birthdays and Christmas parties to attend to. So little time, so much to do. I need to buy a chaka doll for Janice.
So many thoughts ran in to the wild er my mind while waiting for my turn. Haguras Ellain Mee, the girl called in a very inaudible sound. I was wondering if she was calling me. Finally, it was my turn.
Going to the Department of Foreign Affairs at 600 AM is overrated and exaggerated. I was able to process my passport in three hours, with no backers nor agencies. I cut down cost at 50%. And yeah, I was right.
